Cell Phone Camera

Gone To The Beach Today :-)

Went to the beach to take some pics. The weather was amazing. All the photos taken here are with my cell phone camera. If you can get the light just right, it’s possible to take nice photos with your phone. OK, I did a little tweak in Photoshop, but only correcting the color, exposure and contrast with levels. No cropping, all pics are full-frame. Check back this weekend for a review and photographs from Typical Mac User meets Photography and the Mac.

How Cool Is Photoshop Elements?

One minute you have a grainy cell phone picture and the next, you have art. How cool is that? -RL

Check out a few of my Blackberry cell phone
photographs from this week.

The locations include: The Grove and Farmers Market in Los Angeles and the Seal Beach Pier.

I needed a day off from writing plus I wanted to try out PlusKit from Loghound Software with RapidWeaver to add a flash gallery to my website.

The software combination is very fast and very simple to use. There’s no source coding, just point, click and drag. It took about five minutes to put the gallery together and get it up and running. How cool is that?

It definitely is the simplest solution I’ve found for adding this type of gallery to a blog post with RapidWeaver.

I have encountered some delays in publishing my site with PlusKit and the slideshow page.

Now, when I make a change to the site it wants to republish all or part of the photos. This makes the publishing process slower than normal. I have emailed the developer for help.

The problems continued so I went back to publishing my flash-video slide shows with Bannerzest. It seems to be the simplest way to get photos on my website.
